Education and Training
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and a master’s in Counseling Psychology (MA) from Adler University in Chicago. I’ve received advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis and the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California. My clinical experience includes work in Intensive Outpatient Programs, community mental health settings, and private practice.
My Approach
Most people come to therapy not just to feel better, but to better understand themselves — their pain, their patterns, and what keeps them stuck. I’ve always been drawn to this kind of work: the quiet, careful process of listening deeply, asking meaningful questions, and making sense of one’s inner world. Therapy can be a rare space to slow down and reflect with honesty and depth.
I work with thoughtful, emotionally attuned adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and major life transitions. Many of my clients have long carried the weight of responsibility, emotion, or expectation — and are now looking for space to unpack what’s been held in for too long.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. I pay close attention not just to your story, but to emotional patterns, silences, and ways of relating that unfold between us — often shaped by early relationships. With curiosity and care, we explore these dynamics and begin to shift what no longer serves you.
